We’re delighted to announce the disposal of Dobbies Garden Centres Garden Centre Pennine in Huddersfield on behalf of LondonMetric Property PLC (LMP) to Yorkshire Garden Centres Group.
This acquisition marks another milestone for YGC, whose passion for creating vibrant, family-friendly destinations is transforming the garden centre landscape in West Yorkshire and beyond. The Huddersfield site, rich in history and local ties, is set to be revitalised, with exciting plans for refurbishment and reopening in early spring.
Mark Farnsworth, Managing Director of YGC, expressed his excitement:
“We are delighted to add Pennine Garden Centre to the group. The site is well known to many of our team who used to work there when it was owned by the Armitage family. We look forward to welcoming customers back to this cherished location.”

Source are seeking high profile sites, with roadside visibility on major roads with a minimum of 20,000 passing vehicles each day, ideally with amenities nearby.
